Lysander Shipping have recently been awarded a project to handle the import of Cable reels from Vietnam to UK.
The Hornsea project consists of 220x cable reels to supply the world’s largest offshore wind farm off the East Coast of Britain.
An example of complete project management from initial bidding stage, onsite supervision for client, coordination and completion. The cable reels (4m x 4.5m x 4.5m / 35,000kgs) are removed from flatracks and delivered to site with escort on specialist low bed trailers.
